Joyce emphasises the importance of teamwork in the work that she does: “Simply changing the substrate won’t do. It’s always a combination of various factors to achieve success. You must really do it together; with greenhouse suppliers, growers, ecosystem builders, and your colleagues,” she says. “Everyone is genuinely passionate about what’s happening in that greenhouse.” That inspires her every day.
